Marinite 2200
Marinite 2200 is a new high density millboard insulation rated to withstand temperatures up to 2200°F (1200°C). The distinct advantage of Marinite 2200 is the IARC Group 3 rating it receives. All other millboard products on the market with this temperature rating are classified as Group 2B (possibly carcinogenic to humans). When compared with other competitive ceramic fiber containing products, Marinite 2200 has advantageous low dimensional shrinkage, high tensile strength, high compressive strength, excellent thermal conductivity, easy handling and machinability. Applications include lehr rolls, insulating barriers in appliances, high temperature gaskets and seals, fire protection, efficient refractory backup, furnace hot face linings and others.
